Happenings are a five-piece band from Walyalup, Western Australia. They have created their own unique approach to the world of alternative folk-pop and soft-rock. Happenings have taken a reflective and honest approach to their writing by delving into themes of self-identity, love stuff and general pondering of time and place. Take a Holiday (Trust the DJ) is the band's smooth third single. Their second single, Fig Jam Man (which we also love), delves into some soul-esque sounds with lyrical themes touching on the desire for simple living and party anxiety.
